Obituary of Raymond Anthony Peysen

Raymond Anthony Peysen, 63, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024.

Rosary at 5:00 pm with Visitation to follow until 7:00 pm on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Thompson’s Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Blvd.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10 am Saturday, March 16, 2024 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 509 W. Magnolia.

Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park.  

Following the interment, friends are invited to join the family for a reception at Thompson's Harveson & Cole, 4350 River Oaks. Blvd.

Ray was born on June 17, 1960, in Archer City, Texas to Bernadine and Raymond Peysen. He was a 1978 graduate of Windthorst High School where he played football, baseball and ran track and attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Ray had a long-standing career with XTO Energy and retired from Exxon Mobil in 2022.  He was currently employed with Range Resources.  He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his family and friends.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, his step mother Nina Peysen, and his son, Chase Peysen.

Survivors: Wife, Jackie Segars; son, Cole Peysen and his wife, Brittany; grandson, Camden Peysen; step-children, Jacob Segars and Presley Segars and her husband Jonathon Borges; brother and sisters, Arlene Hogan, John Peysen and Elaine Schlabs; and a host of extended family and friends.
