William "Fred"Funk III passed away on June 23, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Born on September 17, 1957, in Fort Worth, Fred was the son of William F. Funk and Elva Jo "Judy" Rainwater Funk. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, love for his family, and the legacy he leaves behind.
Visitation: 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Thompson’s Harveson & Cole Chapel, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76114.
Service: 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025, also at Thompson’s Harveson & Cole Chapel.
Interment: The interment will immediately follow the service at Hico Cemetery in Hico, Texas.
Fred is survived by his son, Billy Funk; daughter, Brandi Funk; and grandson, Liam Funk.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
