Teresa Ann Govednik Lancy

It is with great love and deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Teresa (Terry) Ann Lancy. She was called home to our Heavenly Father on February 22, 2022. Terry was a loving mother, sister and friend to many. She served her community for 47 years as a nurse with Harris HEB/Texas Health Resources. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church for almost 40 years. She enjoyed crocheting prayer shawls with church friends, working in her garden, reading, and spending time with family. She will forever be our “warrior”. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Kevin Welch; daughter and son-in-law, Karla and Charlie Schaitberger; 3 grandchildren, Taylor Welch, Nolan and Luke Schaitberger; brother, Martin Govednik, sister, Carol Birdsell, and brother, Frank Govednik.
