Tammy Kay Tomlinson, 55, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
Celebration of Life: 1:00 pm. Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth, where a reception will immediately follow the service.
Tammy was born on January 18, 1971, in Lubbock, Texas, to Penny Fort and Donald King. She was a 1990 graduate of Grand Prairie High School.
Tammy dedicated many years of her career to Mrs Baird's Bread and D.R. Horton, where she was known for her strong work ethic and the friendships she made along the way.
While she worked hard, nothing brought Tammy greater happiness than her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and "GiGi" whose greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She rarely missed an opportunity to cheer from the sidelines as she watched her daughters compete in sports, creating memories they will forever cherish.
Tammy also loved to travel and especially enjoyed vacations to the beautiful beaches of Mexico, where she found peace listening to the waves, soaking up the sunshine, and making treasured memories with those she loved. She loved her puppies, sweet tea, Cody Johnson, the color pink, and a pack of Marlboro Light 100s. She lived life with a kind heart, a warm smile, and an unwavering love for her family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Lewis Tomlinson; daughters, Linsey Schneider and her husband, Dylan, and Haile Anders and her husband, Triston; cherished grandchildren, Fields and Fuller Schneider, and her newest grandbaby on the way; father, Don King and his wife Katherine Greene; brothers, Lucas King and Willie Payne; and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Penny Fort; her grandma, Virginia King; and her grandpa, Ray King.
Her love, laughter, and the countless memories she created with those she loved will remain in the hearts of all who knew her and will be dearly missed.
