Sandra Lee Wilson

Sandra Lee Raines Henderson Wilson was born on September 5, 1947 in Fort Worth, TX and passed peacefully July 2, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Henderson, and father, Clarence Henderson; sisters, Grace Key, Marie Williams, Patsy Skinner; brothers, Floyd Raines and Carol Henderson; husband, Elmer “Bud” Wilson; and grandson, Travis George.

A spunky woman full of personality, Sandy lived a fun, energetic and giving life. She found great joy in the outdoors when fishing, camping, gardening, playing competitive rounds of bocce ball and washers, while also loving the indoor sport of league bowling.

Sandy deeply valued the companionship of family, friends and was consistently generous in spirit, always extending a helping hand to those in need. Her warm personality brought comfort, smiles, and laughter to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sandy will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. Her memory will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by son, James “Glen” (Joy) Wilson; grandson, Landon George; grandaughter, Jenna Wilson; great grandchildren, Avery George, Eleanor George and Eli George; brother, John (Debbie) Henderson; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Life event will be held, with close friends and family, at a later date.
