Listen to Obituary

Norma Machen transitioned peacefully to eternal life on March 17, 2026, at age 93, at Mira Vista Court Rehabilitation and Nursing Home.

She was born in Gainesville, Texas October 23, 1932, to Harley and Gladys Hall. Her parents moved to Fort Worth where Norma attended Polytechnic High School.

Norma was an Administrative Assistant for the Western Company for many years. She retired in 1994.

She enjoyed dancing and trips to Las Vegas with family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her four brothers and their children. She was also an avid follower of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. In her retirement years, Norma enjoyed going to garage sales and resale shops. She was always up for having a nice glass of cabernet.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents and her four brothers, Richard, James, William, and Charles. She is survived by many nephews and nieces.

The family would like to extend our gratitude to Mira Vista Court for the loving care provided to Norma for over five years. We would also like to extend our appreciation to Community Hospice for their care during Norma’s final months of life.
