Maxine Madge Henderson Kruse

Maxine Madge Henderson Kruse, 97, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones, on January 30, 2022.For over 20 years, Maxine was a Fort Worth ISD school nurse. Maxine was a “spitfire” of a woman, with many passions: her family, reading, and three organizations that benefited from her enthusiasm – Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, PEO and Fort Worth Women’s Club. She was also a lifelong scratch bridge player.She is survived by sons, Jim Kruse and wife, Doris of Birmingham, Alabama, Jeff Kruse, and wife Susan of Fort Worth, and daughter, Kathy Kruse of Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.Maxine was a joyful force to be reckoned with. If only we could be so cool.
