Marjorie Marie Champion was a Fort Worth resident, born April 21, 1944, and passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, at the age of 82.
Mrs. Champion was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, and retired from Petro Deli Food Services in the summer of 2020. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dog mom. 🐾
Mrs. Champion was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Ray Champion; parents, Walter Leroy Kelly and Florence Marie Kelly; daughter, Donna Cline; step-son-in-law, Lawrence Alexander; and brother, Leroy Kelly.
Survivors: Daughters, Tracey Sparks and her husband, Larry, and Stacey Stiles and her husband, Leeman; son, Lester Champion Jr. and his wife, Rachel; son-in-law, Mike Cline; stepdaughter, Darla Alexander; stepson, Manuel Champion and his wife, Brenda; sister, Barbara Staley and her husband, Pete; brother, R.L. Kelly and his wife, Gail; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Viewing: 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2026 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas 76114.
Graveside Service: 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2026 in the Springtown Cemetery, Springtown, Texas.
