Marilyn Wasek Seely, 86, passed away June 15, 2025.

Mass of Christian Burial: 9:00 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025 at St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church,  3550 SW Loop 820, Fort Worth, TX 76133.

Interment: 1:00 p.m. in Mart Cemetery, Mart, Texas.

Memorials: Should friends desire, memorials may be given to the Alzheimers Association of Tarrant County.

Marilyn Wasek  Seely  was born in a farmhouse in Mart, Texas to Charles Rudolph Wasek and Mary Sykora Wasek.  She was a farm girl and loved the outdoors, working the land and riding the tractor. Marilyn had musical gifts of playing the drums and the accordion.   After graduating from Mart High School as a member of the National Honor Society, Mariyn held several professional positions throughout her career.   She worked for the S&H Green Stamp Company, the Social Security Administration, the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, General Dynamics(Lockheed) and retired as a contract specialist as a civilian employee of the U. S. Army.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Thomas Allen Seely; her son, Allen Seely; her daughter, Lawrie Gaunt and husband, Matthew; her grandchildren, Cole and Hunter; and four great-grandchildren.
