Longtime Fort Worth resident Loys Glenn Isbell went to his heavenly home on June 22, 2026.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2026 at All Saints Episcopal Church on the campus of All Saints Episcopal School, 9700 Saints Circle, Fort Worth, Texas.
A proud native of Tyler, Texas, Glenn met the love of his life, Diana Harroz, when he moved to Fort Worth. He and Diana were married on August 17, 1968, beginning a loving partnership that would span 57 years and were blessed with three sons.
Glenn’s memory lives deep in the heart of his wife and sons Blaine (Kam) ; Clay (Kris) ; and Adam (Sasha) as well as grandchildren Carly, Christian, Ella, Ava, Braydon, Brooke, Cameron, and Carson (Addie). In addition to numerous nieces and nephews, Glenn is also survived by his brother-in-law Edward Harroz Jr. and wife Susan.
His family loved his belief and life attitude of “We got this.”
A graduate of University of Texas Arlington, Glenn worked for IBM for 43 years.
His faith and his family were his top priorities and the couple was well known and loved as members of All Saints Episcopal Church for 40 years.
Through his firm belief in the power of prayer, Glenn created a personal list so no one would be forgotten in his nightly prayers. In his later years, before every surgery or doctor’s appointment and even his final words were “God has this.”
Invitations to dine at their home were coveted by friends and family alike, but their most prized guests were their grandchildren, one of whom had honored Glenn in March of this year by asking him to officiate at his wedding.
Glenn’s childhood in Tyler was at the root of his love of gardening. The local nurseries in Fort Worth were his favorite haunts after retiring in 2010 and his yard, trees, flowers, plants and vegetables were testament to the loving care his beloved outdoor spaces received daily.
The family loved summers in New Mexico, and the many jubilant family events centered around his wife’s beloved Lebanese heritage, which Glenn thoroughly embraced.
An only child, Glenn was preceded in death by his parents William L. Isbell and Maxine Barber and cousin Ginger Ellis.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Building Fund at All Saints Episcopal Church. Please choose “Building Church” for the fund to assure they go towards the new building and there is a spot to write “In memory of Glenn Isbell” as well. https://secure.accessacs.com/access/oglogin.aspx?sn=104875
