Leslie Irvin Hendrix Jr., 76, of Crowley, TX was called to be with the Lord on April 29, 2026.
Visitation: 5:00:- 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 and Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Thompson Harveson & Cole, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76114.
Graveside Service: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX.
Les was born in Rockford, Illinois to the late Leslie Hendrix Sr. and Mary (Armstrong) Wilkerson. He lived in River Oaks, TX, and graduated from Castleberry High School. He served his country in the US Army as a Combat Vietnam Veteran from 1969-1971.
On September 21, 1973, he married the love of his life, Diane Webb, and together they shared over 52 years of marriage. He was a devoted husband and father. They were blessed with two daughters, Missy Hendrix Butler and Suzie Hendrix.
Les worked for Meadowbrook Bowl Lanes and Don Carter Bowl Lanes from 1972-1978. He then worked for City Vending Fort Worth for over 30 years, eventually retiring there.
Les is survived by his wife, Diane; daughters, Missy Butler and husband, Michael Butler, and Suzie Hendrix; grandson, Vincent Butler; sister, Patsy Hendrix Funderburgh; and a host of family and friends.
