Judith Carol Vogel

Judy Carol Vogel passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 89. 

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas.

Judith was born on June 29, 1936, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Mary and Carl Hackworth. She grew up in Dallas and graduated from Highland Park High School in 1954. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in education from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. After graduation, she dedicated many years to teaching before later working in administration within the financial services field.

Judith had a love for life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed shopping, decorating, sharing good meals, whether at home or dining out, and was an avid movie buff. Her warmth and spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Philip Vogel, and his wife, Martha; her daughter, Susan Nelson, and her husband, Larry; her grandson, Carl Vogel, and his wife, Katy; and her great-grandchildren, Ryker and Parker Vogel.
