Jennie Lou Berry Paget

Jennie Lou Berry Paget, 98, a resident of Ridgmar Place, died Saturday, June 21, 2025, at home, surrounded by her family.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Ridglea Presbyterian Church, 5000 Southwest Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76116.  Jennie asked that in lieu of flowers and if desired, memorials be given to Ridglea Presbyterian Church or a charity of choice.

Jennie was born April 8, 1927 near Lela, Oklahoma. The family moved to a ranch in Osage County in 1929, where Jennie spent her early life. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1948, and it was there that she met Frank Paget who would become her loving husband of 59 years. They were married in 1951 and moved to Fort Worth where they raised their family and remained lifelong residents. She served as a docent at both the Amon Carter Museum and Kimball Art Museum for many years and took pride in giving tours to museum visitors as well as family and friends. She was a member of Ridglea Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder and worked as the church librarian for 27 years.

Jennie was keenly interested in Oklahoma history, particularly in Osage County where she was raised. She will be remembered by her family for her fun-loving nature which included taking tap lessons in her sixties and line dancing lessons in her eighties. A favorite memory is of her special Easter celebrations where her games and egg hunts were much anticipated activities.

Jennie was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, her parents and her brother, Everett Berry. Survivors include her sister, Catherine Hess, her children Joseph Berry Paget (Debbie) and Sarah Paget Moore (Michael) as well as grandchildren, Tracy Paget Barnett (Zach) and Tyler Berry Paget (Kelsey) and great-grandchildren: Kate Paget Barnett, Jake William Barnett, Witten Berry Paget, Joe Prentice Barnett and Caroline Rae Paget as well as beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you?

To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
