Jeffery Alan Paul, 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

A Memorial Service will be held at Thompson’s Harveson & Cole Chapel on June 5th, 2026 at 10:30 AM with a  reception following in the Drawing Room.

Jeff was born on May 26, 1962, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Ann and Everett Paul. He graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1980 and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Simpson College in 1984. While attending Simpson College, Jeff was a proud member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, and it was there that he met the love of his life, Linda. The two married shortly after graduation and built a beautiful life together.

Jeff enjoyed a successful 25 year career as a Managing Director with Deloitte. He was known for his professionalism, leadership, and ability to connect with people.

Jeff loved life and embraced it fully. He enjoyed golfing, tennis, skiing, and working in his yard. A frequent traveler, Jeff visited every continent except Antarctica. He had a tremendous sense of humor and was famous among family and friends for his unforgettable sayings and quick wit.

Although Jeff was known by corporate titles, as well as the many “nicknames” collected over the years, he was blessed to carry the title that he cherished the most, which was the one his beloved Grandchildren gave him, “Pete!”

One of Jeff’s greatest passions was mentoring young people. He was deeply involved with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in both Metro Atlanta and Tarrant County and proudly served as Past President of the Tarrant County Boys & Girls Club in 2025. Jeff found great joy in encouraging and investing in the lives of children and young adults.

Jeff will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Linda Paul; daughters, Emily Milliken and husband Chris, and Abby Clark; grandchildren, Charlie and Kate Milliken, and Annie and Gray Clark; mother, Ann Paul; sister, Jeni Smith and husband Roger; nephews, Thatcher and Beckett Smith, and Jack Young; brother-in-law, Rick Young; along with many extended family members, treasured friends, and colleagues.

Jeff asked that his remains rest high atop his three favorite Aspen ski mountains where so many lasting family memories were made, and future ones await.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, mentorship, and kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the Paul family would appreciate a donation to the Jeffrey Paul Memorial Scholarship which will be awarded through the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Tarrant County.
