Jason Reid Jenson, aged 39, passed away in Fort Worth, Texas on June 27th, 2025.

Jason was a life-long resident of Fort Worth having been born here on October 28th, 1985 as the only child of Martin Dale Jenson and Ellen Hancock Jenson. He was a 2006 graduate of Cassata Catholic High School and went on to earn certificates in airframe and powerplant maintenance from Tarrant County College (TCC) in 2013. Upon passage of his certification exams, Jason became a Certified FAA Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic and began working at Spirit Airlines, Inc. in this role. He later went on to work at Bell Textron which manufactures military rotor craft (helicopters) for several years as a senior flight mechanic. Most recently, he worked as a Senior Build Technician at Kodiak Robotics, a leading provider of AI-powered autonomous vehicle technology for transportation, military, and industrial applications.

Jason is survived by his wife, Andrea Drabos Jenson and their daughter. He is also survived by his mother, Ellen Hancock Jenson; uncles, Michael Jenson and D.E. Staats; aunts, Laurie Jenson and Rebecca Friday Staats; cousins, Kevin Jenson, Rachael & Sean O’Rourke as well as two other cousins and a second cousin. He was preceded in death in the summer of 2024 by his father, Martin Dale Jenson.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas 76114.  A reception with light lunch will follow directly after the service at the same facility.
