Guy Fredrick “Rick” Webb, 80, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 14, 2026.

Rick was born on May 3, 1946, in Minden, Louisiana, to Devoe “Bo” Webb and Helen Webb. He graduated from Lake Worth High School, where life led him to the girl from the rival school, Castleberry High School, who would become his high school sweetheart and first wife, Luann Webb. Their love story began in their youth and remained a cherished part of his life’s journey.

Throughout his life, Rick was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to do whatever was needed to provide for his family. He worked for Swift & Company, operated his own backhoe business, then worked at K&N Electric, Mrs. Baird’s Bakery, and finally the City of Fort Worth. No matter the job, he approached his work with dedication, integrity, and pride.

Above all else, Rick was a devoted Christian and a faithful member of the Church of Christ. He dedicated many years of service to Southside Church of Christ’s Food Pantry Ministry, helping those in need and living out his faith through acts of service. He was a family man who deeply loved his children and grandchildren and treasured the time spent with those he loved most.

Rick had a passion for antiquing and enjoyed searching for and restoring unique pieces. He also enjoyed traveling to watch the leaves change and summer road trips with his grandchildren.

In his most recent years, Rick found love again with Sandy. The two met through Southside Church of Christ and were married there. They shared a love of antiques and traveling and were blessed to visit many beautiful places together.

He will be remembered for his servant’s heart, his steady presence, his love of family, and the example of faith he set for those around him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Luann Webb, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage; his parents Bo and Helen Webb; his brother, Bobby Webb; and his son-in-law, Tim Head.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Webb; his son, Aaron Webb and wife, Becky Webb; his daughter, Amy Head; and his grandson, Bo Webb and wife, Rachel Webb; his granddaughter, Samantha Head; his brothers, John Webb and wife, Terry Webb, and Danny Webb and wife, Cindy Webb; and sister-in-law, Susan Webb and husband, Hollis Driskell; and brother-in-law, Terry Purcell and wife, Dottie Garner. He also leaves behind many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
