Gloria Ann Metzer Madderra

Gloria Ann Metzer Madderra passed away September 12, 2025 in Fort Worth.
Born in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Howard and Carolyn Metzer on May 15, 1931, she was proud that she was the first baby on the cradle roll at Blackwell Presbyterian Church. As a young lady, Gloria was active in Rainbow Girls.
She worked for many years, until her retirement at Continental Oil Co.(Conoco) and was a long time resident of Boerne, Texas, where she was involved in the Methodist Church. Her favorite activities included traveling with friends, delivering meals and her church life.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, John Madderra, her parents Howard and Carolyn Metzer, and her brother, Bill Metzer.
Survivors are her daughters, Karen Ann Madderra and Julie Diane Hayes, son-in law, Richard Hayes and sister-in-law, Marilyn Metzer.
Her earthly remains will be buried at Hayes-Grace Memorial Park in Santa Fe, Texas.
