Gerald Joseph Quast, 80, died Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 6150 Pershing Avenue.
Interment: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
"Jerry" was born October 17, 1044 in St. Cloud, MN to Basilus and Margaret Quast. After higfh school, he served four years active duty in the United States Air Force, followed by two years in the Reserves. In December 1966, he married the former Brenda Kay Donica at Dyess AFB, Texas. The couple moved to Fort Worth where he worked for General Dynamics (now Lockheed) as an aircraft inspector. After being laid off, he beame Custodian/Operations Lead at Holy Family Church and School, a position he held for more that three decades. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and following his beloved Minnesota Vikings. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Judith, and his wife, Brenda.
Survivors: Son, Mark; daughters, Anne and Juliana; brothers, Robert, Richard and Ronald; and sisters, Barbara and Margaret.
