Denise Dafcik Padfield

1960 — 2025

Denise recently passed away in Colorado surrounded by family. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Mildred Armstrong Dafcik and William (Bill) Dafcik. She is survived by son, Russell Padfield of Walla Walla, Washington; husband, Calvin Kimbrough; sisters, Anne Dafcik Potthoff and Emily Dafcik Watt, of Fort Worth.

Denise graduated from Trinity Valley School and Texas A&M University, with a degree in Industrial Engineering, where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.  She loved biking, hiking, skiing with friends and family and lived a full filling life as an engineer, musician, triathlete, and a frequent volunteer with Catholic Charities and Community Crossroads. She was a lifetime member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was a lector for 20 years.

Mass of Christian Burial: A Private Mass will be held in the Chapel at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life in La Puertita at Joe T. Garcia's at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, July 31. 

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to Holy Family Catholic Church or Catholic Charities.
