Dale Timothy Stephen, lovingly known as “Tim” to his family and friends and “Timbo” to those who knew him growing up, passed away May 20th, 2026 surrounded by the love of those he cherished most. Born in 1967 in Atoka, OK to Dale “Nub” Truman Stephen and Shirley Ann Wills Stephen, Tim spent his childhood in Stringtown, OK where he developed a lifelong love of baseball and family.
A talented athlete, Tim excelled on the baseball field. Baseball remained one of the great passions of his life, and he was a fiercely loyal fan of the Kansas City Royals through every season.
Beyond athletics, Tim was gifted with remarkable artistic talent. He loved drawing intricate portraits of his favorite baseball players and countless animals for his beloved daughter Olivia to color. His creativity, humor, and gentle spirit left lasting impressions on everyone who knew him.
While attending East Central University, Tim met the love of his life, Jennifer. Following school, the two built their life together in Texas, where Tim worked as a radiology technologist and devoted his free time to family, baseball, and the things he loved most.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Dale “Nub” Truman Stephen and Shirley Ann Wills Stephen; his mother-in-law Lillian Marie Owens Steelman of Chickasha, OK; his beloved uncle and aunt, Lawrence “Ratty” Bowen and Wanda “Dude” Bowen of Stringtown, OK, and his unwavering four-legged companion Alexis.
He is survived by his loving wife Jennifer Stephen of North Richland Hills, TX; his daughter Olivia Stephen Seibert, son-in-law Cole Seibert, and treasured granddaughter Charlotte Seibert, and his granddog Beaux of Aledo, TX; his sister Tanya Garside and brother-in-law Bob Garside of Stringtown, OK; his niece Megan Garside Burleson and her husband Adam, along with their daughters Maggie and Mollie of Stringtown, OK; and his nephew Robbie Garside and his wife Krislan, along with their children Blakely and Grant of Utica, OK.
Tim will be remembered as a devoted husband, proud father and grandfather, loyal friend, gifted artist, and lifelong Royals fan. Above all, he will be remembered for the unwavering love he gave to his family - a love that will continue to live on in all who knew him.
