Carol Jean Anderlitch Reed

Carol Jean Anderlitch Reed, passed away March 19, 2026. 

Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Oakwood Cemetery, 701 Grand Avenue, Fort Worth. 

Born November 22, 1934 in Fort Worth, she was the daughter of Frank and Mary Josephine (Collins) Anderlitch and decendant of Julian Feild, a civic leader in Fort Worth and co-founder of Mansfield.

Carol was a graduate of O.U. and was a substitute teacher in the Fort Worth ISD. She was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church and a member of the P.E.O.

• She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Scott Reed and is survived by her son, Daniel M. Reed III; granddaughter, Melissa Ann Reed; and her cousin, Joseph Minton.
